At the 2026 Cat Litter Industry Conference, the team led by Dr. Li Yun from Yantai University presented a complete dust reduction technology solution. Through the four-step logic of "raw material control of impurities + formula dust retention + process dust reduction + terminal dust protection", the dust content of cat litter was reduced from the traditional 8-12g/㎡ to below 2g/㎡. The core technologies include the development of food-grade dust-reducing agents and the improvement of porous coating structures, addressing the industry pain point of "reducing dust necessarily means reducing agglomeration".
